Adam Seirup

Founder

Early in Adam’s career in decorative arts, he was given opportunities to work directly with designers and architects. He discovered a passion for the collaborative creative process and enjoyed turning client’s ideas and inspirations into interior surface finishes that people live with daily.

In 2014, Adam launched his own studio. The goal was to bridge the gap between art and craft by offering elevated surface finishes and custom art installations for interior spaces. Now, with a reputation for unique designs, highest quality craftsmanship, and projects always completed on time, SDS builds on a wealth of experience and proprietary techniques to make their client’s spaces truly special.

Adam resides in Brooklyn with his wife, Trinity, daughter, Connor and dog, Finnegan.

Sara Mazdzer

Studio Director

Sara is a classically trained artist whose career has been shaped by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, material exploration, and skill-driven processes. She earned her BFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute and brings more than 15 years of experience in studio management, artist assistance, fabrication, and workshop operations.

Sara began working alongside Adam in 2014 at Erebus Creative, where they collaborated on a wide range of custom fabrication and design projects. When Seirup Design Studio was founded in 2019, she joined as a key member of the team and now serves as Studio Director, overseeing operations and helping bring complex creative visions to life.

Outside the studio, Sara can often be found ice carving, rock climbing, or exploring the streets of Red Hook, Brooklyn with her husband, Stefan, and their beloved oversized dog, Manny.
